The Australasian Aid Conference, held in February of each year in partnership with The Asia Foundation, has become an integral part of the Australian and regional aid calendar. The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers from across Australia, the Pacific, Asia, and beyond who are working on aid and international development policy to share insights, promote collaboration, and help develop the research community.

The conference committee currently invites submissions for the Three Minute Aid Pitch (3MAP) plenary session. 3MAP was first introduced at the 2017AAC,and is an interactive plenary session to discuss ideas for improving Australian aid and international development policy. Speakers will present and discuss their proposals for no more than 3 minutes each, followed by rapid-fire audience reaction, and a vote.

If you have an innovative new idea for enhancing Australia’s development impact, this is an opportunity to present your idea to an audience of researchers and practitioners from around Australia and the region. The 2018 conference will be held on 12-14 February 2018 at Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU.
