RAID Network’s 2024-2025 year in review

RAID have been a busy network over the last 12 months with some fantastic events and competitions in this past year.

The Annual Report expands on these events: the RAID Comms team created and launched the ‘Who are we’ video; the 2025 photo comp had great engagement around it with Md Monirul Islam taking out the top prize, second prize awarded to Maree Bouterakos, and People’s Choice went to Monique Berkhout. The RAID Capacity Building Team held two 3-part webinar series, “Women in Agriculture“ and “Harnessing AI in Agriculture” and a number of state/territory networking events. The Central Committee ‘Support’ team ably designed and implemented Phase 4 of the Australian Volunteers/Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) research exchange program. The RAID Team also delivered their annual scholars night at the Crawford Fund for Food Security conference.
