RAID gets communicating using video
Over 25 RAIDers from around Australia have participanted in a workshop on using videos to help communicate their research. Richard Snashall took us on a trip through pre-production, filming and post-production and ways we can use these videos to promote our work. With the help of a few gadgets, some hands on experience and a selfie stick (see picture below), Richard ran a very engaging workshop which was a whole lot of fun. The workshop ran from lunchtime on Thursday the 9th of July til lunchtime on Friday. JackH and Bonnie (our events coordinators) also organised a networking event in Newtown which was a great opportunity for everyone to relax and get chatting under the night sky. Thanks to everyone for coming and for JackH, Bonnie and Richard for running the event.
