Vacancy: Research Assistant (Casual)

Organisation: University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba Campus
Position: Research Assistant
Employment Type: Casual (One day per week for 6 months)

Hourly Rate: up to $42/hour

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in agriculture, environmental science, or a related field.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Understanding of water management and natural resource management principles.
• Familiarity with pulse crops.
• Familiarity with sustainable agricultural practices.

Experience (Preferred):

• Background as a cropping scientist or experience in cropping systems research.
• Interest in research for development in South Asia

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with research activities related to pulse research for water and natural resource management in agricultural systems.
• Support data collection, literature reviews, and reporting tasks.

Location: UniSQ Toowoomba campus or remote
Start Date: Immediate
