Dr Veronica Doerr
Veronica is a principal consultant at Sustineo, a Canberra-based international development consultancy with the vision to bring high-calibre social and economic impact to the Asia-Pacific. With experience in climate change science and development program management, Veronica’s expertise in systems thinking and facilitative leadership enables individuals and teams to build a shared understanding of the broader systems they operate within. Veronica is often recognised for her ability to influence, inspire, synthesise, and drive sharper approaches to both business and strategy.

Abby Hill
Abby is a Senior Policy Officer at the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry working in international agricultural trade policy and sustainability. Her experience across private industry and government, coupled with undergraduate degrees in agricultural science and Chinese language, position her as a up-and-coming professional providing lived insight into international pathways for young Australians.
Dr James Quilty
James is the former General Manager Research at the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), a specialised research-for-development agency within the Australian Aid program. James is a genuine soils enthusiast with international experience across the Asia-Pacific, most notably in the Philippines researching ecological intensification of rice production systems. James is passionate about supporting the next generation of agricultural researchers and practitioners.
Dr Deborah O’Connell
Deborah has built a career on researching capacity, capabilities and competencies for systems change across agricultural industries. With long-term experience at CSIRO, Deborah is a recognised leader in interdisciplinary research surround climate adaptation response, sustainability science, biomass and biofuels.
